Additional Documents Required:

1. Birth Certificate of the new born child born in UAE is to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in UAE.
2. Marriage Certificate (in English) of the parents. If the marriage certificate is in any other language, the legal translation of marriage certificate to English is required.

BLS offers one-stop service to all applicants/parents arriving in person with original passports. The services are available at BLS centers to assist applicants as value-added service.

Other Requirements: BLS International offers "Other Services" for the Convenience of applicants at centers.

1. New born Birth Registration: Application submitted online for Registration of Birth with original photograph of the child pasted & signature of parents at designated places in the printed form. (All services are available at BLS centers to assist applicants as value-added service. BLS offers one-stop service to all applicants arriving in person with original passports.)
   Online Registration is a mandatory process and the file # is a mandatory document to be attached along with the application when submitting to BLS. 2. Present valid passports of both the parents (in original) and Emirates IDs of both the parents (Photocopy services are available in the BLS center).
3. Two recent clear photos (51mm X 51mm) with white background and dark dress with frontal view. Ears, forehead & chin to be completely visible. Eyes should be open. Kajal Marks on face / head coverings are not allowed.
4. Personal presence of both the parents with the child is mandatory.
5. Thumb Impression should be in DARK BLACK INK and should not touch the lines of the box.
6. Name of the child (Given name + surname) should be exactly same in passport application and Birth certificate issued from UAE. No initials are allowed in birth certificate and passport (either given name or surname).
7. In case either of the parents is presently staying outside UAE, Prior approval from Embassy of India required with No Objection Certificate signed by him/her and duly attested by the concerned State department in India or by the Indian Mission/Post at the place where the parent is currently staying is required.
8. If the marriage certificate is not attested from home department of concerned state and spouse name also not added in passport newborn application can be accepted with request letter and marriage certificate copy.
9. If one of the parents is a non-Indian, NOC from the Embassy of the concerned country to which that parent belongs indicating that they have not issued a passport/travel document to the child. Same should be submitted in original. If the concerned embassy is not issuing NOC, prior approval from Embassy of India is required. If one of the parent is UAE Nationality, Sworn affidavit from IVS Global Abu Dhabi is required.
