  • Copy of application submitted online for Registration of Birth with original photograph of the child pasted & signature of parents at designated places in the printed form. Online Registration is a mandatory process and the file # is a mandatory document to be attached along with the application when submitting to BLS.     Please note,Emergency Certificate (Out pass)/ Passport returned from courier can be collected from BLS - Al Khaleej Center between 3 PM to 6 PM (SATURDAY TO THURSDAY).

  • (i) Applicants are required to do one time registration at (Passport Seva at Indian Embassies and Consulates) and create a USER ID.
  • (ii) Login using the newly created USER ID and fill in the application form online at the same portal.
  • (iii) After submitting the form online, take a print out of the application.
  • (iv) Affix applicant photograph at the designated place. (Signatureis required at respective places before the form is submitted to BLS.)
  • (v) Submit the print out of the filled application form including required documents and prescribed fee at the nearest BLS Centre.

Note: Indian citizens in UAE holding handwritten and 20-year Passports with validity beyond November 24, 2015 will have to apply for Machine Readable Passports (MRP). "From November 25, 2015 onwards foreign governments may deny visa or entry to INDIAN CITIZENS travelling with a non- MRP Passport".

"Effective 22nd September 2014 all Miscellaneous Services such as (Spouse Name Endorsement, Deletion of Spouse Name, Endorsement for Change of Address, Extension of Validity and Cancellation of ECR Endorsement) will have to apply for New Passport and pay the complete fees and No Endorsements Services would accepted."
